so this weekend has been pretty awesome. went and saw RED yesterday for the second time this summer and it was pretty awesome! everytime i see them i think i love them more and more (:
here's my pictures for my 30 day challenge for the past 4 days...
day 6: from a low angle
i really had no good idea for this shot. this was the best i could come up with.
day 7: fruit
raspberries (:
day 8: a bad habit
i have a bad habit of leaving my phone in random places. especially at work which is a bad thing considering the people i work with. lol. anways....i really don't like this picture, but i couldn't think of any other interesting bad habit that i have.
day 9: someone you love
Mike- Lead Singer for RED
so i know it's probably sort of expected to choose a family member for this photo, but i really wanted to use one of the pictures i took yesterday at the concert. i really do have a genuine love for these guys. they are awesome people and amazing artists who love Christ and are not afraid to share it. they will always be my favorite band and i will always be one of their crazy fans until the end.
here's a couple more shots from yesterday:
austin (:
hehe
Anthony (who actually yelled at me during a part in their set)
Randy
Joe

Happy Late 4th of July
so i was sort of busy yesterday. sort of busy and lazy. lol
30 Day Challenge Photo
Day 4: Something green
so my plan for this picture didn't really work out. i had planned to take pictures of fireworks that would tie in with the holiday, but all the ones i took didn't turn out all that well. so i resorted to this which was taken earlier in the morning when my brother and i went fishing.
here's some other photos from that trip:
my boots (:
my first semi-successful long exposure of water that i hadn't planned on taking. no tripod and no filter. hopefully i'll take a better one in the future.
Day 5: from a high angle
so this picture for my 30 day challenge was actually taken on the way back from my trip to florida this summer. i wanted to use it because i don't think i could get any higher angle and i really didn't have time today to take one. so there you go.

i'll be your best friend!
Here's a couple of pictures from today.
This is my nephew, Austin. He's pretty hilarious when he's not being bad and asking 10 million questions. My favorite saying that he says when he wants something is, "But I'll be your best friend!" which I've also tried to use but didn't really work out for me. haha.
Later in the evening my brother, sister-in-law and I went and walked through one of the fields close to my house to see if we could find any deer to take pictures of. Didn't see many deer, but we did find some raspberries that were pretty tasty (:

ello!
Thought I would go ahead and use this first post to tell the world a little about myself. My name is Jaimee (yes that is spelled correctly). I am 20 years old. This is a photography blog. I will most likely use it to post any and all pictures I take, which is most of my life by the way.
I am a photography/visual arts major at WVU and I have been involved with photography for about 4 or 5 years now. I also love Jesus, music, kayaking, and any kind of adventure. I like to try and live my life to the fullest while I can so that later I can look back on what I've done and feel fulfilled. So this is my blog of my life through photographs and I hope you enjoy!
